Luna both of Morgan Hill. Grandfather of Frank D. Luna IV, Nicholas S. Luna, Nathaniel T. Luna, Jazmine S. Luna and Earl James Luna all of Morgan Hill. Brother of Helen Garcia of Morgan Hill, Richard Luna of San Jose, Gilbert Luna & Gloria Pina both of Hollister, Rudy Luna, Olga Luna, Stella Silva, Ricky Luna & Raymond Luna all of Gilroy and the late Danny Luna & Raymond Luna. Also preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Grace Luna. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A native of Los Angeles, CA.
Sarah Tanaka
SARAH TANAKA, 59, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Kaiser Redwood City peacefully with her family. She was the wife of Ron Tanaka of Gilroy, mother of Raymond Barrientos & Riki Tanaka, both of Gilroy, daughter of Manuela Castillo and her husband, Emilio, of Gilroy and the late Jesus Velez, sister of Jenny De La Cueva (Camilo) of Gilroy, Julia Benitez of Gilroy and Elpidio Morales of Colorado, sister-in-law of Larry & Helen Tanaka and Scott & Diane Tanaka all of Gilroy, daughter-in-law of Grace Tanaka and the late Ned Tanaka. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. A native of Gilroy.
Jess Joseph Mejia
Jess Mejia passed away at his Gilroy residence August 17th at the age of 59 yrs. A native of Hollister, Jess spent much of his life between San Benito and Santa Clara Counties. A graduate of Hollister High School and prior to his graduation from San Jose City College with his AA Degree, Jess served three tours of duty with the U. S. Marines in Vietnam. A former employee at the Ford Plant in Milpitas until it closed, Jess transferred to Cal Trans and retired due to health reasons June 30th of this year. Jess was a dedicated Raider fan and overall sports enthusiast. He loved his trips to Lake Tahoe. "Family, friends, and his back yard gatherings meant a great deal to him. He was a warm, loving and a genuinely caring person", said his wife Carol. Besides his spouse Carol, survivors are his children Jay Mejia (Birgit); Gabi Mejia; Henry Gracia (Rita); Melanie McIntyre (Erik); Benjamin Navarro ( Serena) and George Navarro (Claudia). Eleven grandchildren, his uncle, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and treasured friends survive. He was predeceased by his grandparents, his mother, his aunt and uncles, and Cecilia Gracia.

A memorial service will take place at 3:30 P.M., Friday, February 8, 2013, at the Hollister Elks Lodge. The family would like to have any friends and family who can attend to bring their memories and/or pictures to share with all of us. Constance Henman
Constance Henman, 84, a former long time resident of Morgan Hill, CA, passed away July 11, 2007 in Oak Harbor, WA, after a very short but courageous fight against brain cancer. She was born in La Haciendita, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Ponciano and Ermelinda (Gomez) Rodriguez. She lived in Texas, Nebraska, Arizona, Washington, and California, eventually relocating back to Washington in 1998. She met and married Richard Henman in 1952. She was primarily a homemaker during the early years of their marriage, but later sold World Book Encyclopedias, Amway, and Avon, door to door. While residing in Morgan Hill, CA, she worked at Gilroy Foods, and was best known for selling antiques and collectables at her garage sales and at the Morgan Hill Flea Market.
Laurette E. Bertelli
Loving wife of the late Emil Bertelli, mother of Dan Bertelli, Carol Villar, Pat Mattos, Diane Winters, Dottie Say and spouses,"Grannie" to 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. At age 96, she was the beloved, compassionate heart of her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
