A Morgan Hill woman was found dead in her apartment Monday afternoon when her neighbor reported that she had fainted and was unconscious.
The woman was found at approximately 5:15 p.m. by a neighbor who called for help. Paramedics attempted CPR, but she was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Morgan Hill police Special Operations Sgt. Jerry Neumayer.
Mary Rodriguez, 55, who lived in the Crest Avenue Apartments, had been diagnosed with tumors in her stomach and was taking prescription medicine, Neumayer said.
Police and paramedics responded to the complex after Rodriguez' neighbor reported Rodriguez had stopped breathing at approximately 5:15 p.m.
Information about the autopsy and cause of death were not available by posting time, but Neumayer said her death is not being considered suspicious.
