Police Blotter: Suspect attempted to start a car fire.

- Murphy Ranch Apartment Homes, East Dunne Avenue, 10: 36 a.m. A resident reported their 13-year-old son was assaulted Saturday afternoon by someone he knows.

Fraud

- Monterey Road, 1:17 p.m. A resident reported someone wrote a $600 check on a previous account.

Vandalism

- East Main Avenue, 5:59 p.m. Someone started a fire under the front tire of a Honda Civic parked at the residence. The resident's family smelled smoke, and the resident's son reported he saw a possible suspect jump over the fence.
