Police Blotter: Battery behind store leads to injury

Vandalism

- Jasmine Square Apartments, Monterey Road, 6:45 p.m. A resident reported someone scratched the number 13 on both sides of his Mustang overnight.

Battery

- West Dunne Avenue, 11:15 p.m. A resident reported he was "jumped" by six male teenagers behind the DD's Discount. He told police he was hit in the head and kicked. He was bleeding from the mouth but refused medical treatment.



June 27

Domestic violence

- Gallop Drive, 1:19 a.m. A resident called her daughter and told her the resident's husband had struck her, and she is bleeding from the mouth. The husband left the residence.
