Police Blotter: Arrests for dangerous driving

April 30
Burglary

- Paradise Motel, Monterey Road, 10:23 a.m. Someone broke into a room overnight and stole an XBox, a case of CDs and video games.



May 1
Burglary

- Donaldo's Gardening Service, San Pedro Avenue, 12:31 p.m. The business was broken into overnight. The front door lock was picked, and grinders and other machines were stolen.

- Domestic violence, unknown address, 1:17 p.m. A hospital employee called police to report a female was in the emergency room severely beaten. The employee said the victim had been arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public the night before, but she did tell the nurse that her husband had beaten her. She was no cooperative, the nurse told police.



May 2
Auto burglary

- East Third Street, 6:25 a.m. A resident reported his work van was broken into overnight. A window was shattered, and two sets of tools, a backpack, cell phone and drill were stolen.

- Deborah K. Newby, 48, April 13, 12:41 a.m. on Monterey Road, on suspicion of driving under the influence.

- A 16-year-old, April 15, 9:04 a.m. at Sobrato High School, for alleged possession of marijuana.

- Robert J. Navarro, 19, April 19, 12:32 a.m. on Condit Road, for giving false identification to a peace officer.

- Dustin T. Farwell, 27, April 25, 8:30 a.m. on Vineyard Boulevard, on an outstanding warrant.

- William E. Green, 46, April 25, 3:48 p.m. on Calle Mazatan, on suspicion of being drunk in public.

- Diana E. Echevarria, 24, April 25, 7:01 p.m. on Vineyard Boulevard, for alleged battery.

- Jonathan H. Hughes, 18, April 25, 10:07 p.m. on Peebles Avenue, for alleged reckless driving.

- Brendan F. Taylor, 19, April 27, 8:32 p.m. on Vineyard Boulevard, for alleged reckless driving.

- Jacqueline L. Brancato, 48, April 29, 4:42 p.m. on Monterey Road, for alleged domestic violence.
