Local comic book, anime and movie fans attended Ohana Comic Con’s inaugural Morgan Hill Comic Con Jan. 19.

The family-friendly Comic Con at the Dance Hall on West Main Avenue was a celebration of fandom, comics, collectibles, pop culture and more.

More than 40 attendees dressed to impress as they competed in a costume contest during the event. Costumes included Ghostbusters, Deadpool and a variety of Marvel, DC, Star Wars and anime characters.

“Thank you all so much for the love and support,” Ohana Comic Con posted on the event’s Facebook page the evening of Jan. 19. “We had a phenomenal day with you all!!”
